To put it briefly, I am a photojournalist and editorial photographer at heart. Being a photojournalist gives you a license to be curious about all things. There is nothing I love better than going out on an assignment, being able to capture the essence of a good story, and then seeing those photos in print or on the web. I get an indescribable high from it every time. It's a feeling that never gets old.

I shoot everything from portraits to news to sports to music to politics to art to performance to religion to events to spot news to storms to court trials, and anything in between. It's all fun to me.

The best times I've ever had were working as a staff photojournalist for four different newspapers: The Beaumont Enterprise in Beaumont, Texas, The Palatka Daily News in Palatka, Florida, The Pharos-Tribune in Logansport, Indiana, and The Manhattan Mercury in Manhattan, Kansas. I absolutely love newspaper work and would always jump at the chance to do it. The job gives me the chance to do what I love on a daily basis and it presents you with challenges and stories to illustrate every single day. For me, it's the dream job. 

Currently I am a contract photographer for several publications and am always looking for assignments. 

I also worked part-time on the weekends as a television news photojournalist with the Tegna stations in Jacksonville, First Coast News. It opened up a whole new world to me, and I do more video work all the time. It has led to me covering some interesting murder trials for Court TV.

My photojournalism has been picked up by the Associated Press and has been published across the country, on the web, and around the world. I am located in Jacksonville, Florida, but would travel anywhere. My Outback is always loaded and ready to go. I want to make photographs all the time.
